1000-Lb Sisters Star Amy Slaton Offers Update On Tammy After Concern

1000Lb Sisters star Amy Slaton revealed Tammy has been ‘locked out’ of her social media accounts as she shared a rare update about her sibling.

The pair front the TLC series together, giving viewers an intimate look at their weight loss journey.

Tammy is currently in a food rehab center and had been posting pictures and videos on her TikTok and Instagram pages, but had not uploaded anything in the last few weeks, leaving some fans concerned.

Taking to Instagram, Amy quashed their fears with a rare comment on her sister.

Underneath her latest photo, showing her son Gage donning an epic Rugrats outfit, one concerned follower asked: ‘Is ur sister okay? she hasn’t posted in a while [sic].’

‘Yes she been lock out of her account and had to set up new ones. And tiktok bann her [sic],’ the expectant mom replied.

She did not share the reason behind why the accounts had been ‘locked’ and ‘banned’.

Tammy boasts 358k followers on Instagram and more than 1million on TikTok – but has not posted on either page since March.

Her TikTok page was briefly removed in March but a spokesperson for the platform confirmed to Metro.co.uk at the time that this was a simple misunderstanding.

‘The account in question was wrongly removed and has now been reinstated,’ they said. 

‘We are open about the fact that we don’t always get every decision right, which is why we continue to invest at scale in our safety operations.’

Before stepping away from social media, Tammy gave fans an insight into how her weight loss journey was going – after a health scare rocked her family.

The reality star was recently rushed to hospital for emergency treatment and placed on a ventilator after she stopped breathing at the center.

The worrying scenes were captured for the season three finale 1000Lb Sisters, as doctors told her family that they weren’t sure whether she would ‘make it through the next hours’.

She woke up soon after and was given a tracheotomy, before returning to the rehab facilty to continue with her transformation, losing more than 100lbs in just a few weeks.
