100t need to drop steel, his IGL'ing isn't terrible but his mechanics just aren't good enough. You have so many boomers on the team to IGL so there's really no need for a deadweight holding them back. His lurks usually never get anything the majority of the time but when they do the team is practically already dead and the round is practically over. This is just my take on what could help out 100T.

the one series where he top fragged, yes he was. he was hitting some clean vandal shots and getting first bloods on icebox. i remember one round, he got the first blood and then predicted the Jett repositioning to the headshot angle (on A site) for the second.

but that isn’t something he does regularly.

this thread is dumb. Steel is for sure a top 5 sentinel player atm, he isn't a bad player and his game sense is so good and ginormous, it probably hurts his brain. Besides, if he left, who's taking his place? Dapr? Fat chance. Aproto? Maybe, but he doesn't run KJ as much as Cypher or Sage. You can't replace him, he's one of a kind

if steel is the reason why 100T doesn't win Berlin, will you blame him? Would you ever blame him? I ran into some TSM fans who refused to blame Cutler, and we saw how that turned out. An obvious weak link (in an admittedly weaker team) who ended up being cut.

I will always support the players but I will also call them out. Steel is so impactful to this team which btw is a clear top 3 team in NA rn. The way I see it is that there is no much better option than Steel and 100T is succeeding rn so why would they change anything? You cannot only look at stats and determine a player's worth to their team. Most players in Steel's shoes would be much less impactful and there's only a few players that can site anchor, lurk and IGL the way steel does. Is he the best site anchor, lurker or IGL? No but he does have a lot of pressure on him to hold sites, get good timings on his solo lurks and to IGL and he gets the job done. Individually, he is the weakest link but he is incredibly impactful to the team.

I can't tell if this is a joke or not. He's def not a bad sentinel player on defense but his lurks on attack are practically useless. His cypher isn't anything special and can be easily replaced. The only thing that would be hard to replace is him IGLing, but when you have nitr0 and hiko with a shit ton of experience they should be able to IGL easily.

how do people complain about steel and not hiko? The guy stays alive last literally every round and when he clutches 1 in 10 rounds people are shocked, hes decent at best when playing at his peak and offers nothing to the team in terms of IGLing or strategy. I'm sure the main reason as to why he was picked up was because he had a huge name but now that the team already has its popularity I don't think he'll be on the roster for any longer than 6 months. So many great sova players to pick from on the free agent list and if you ask me any one of these hungry 16-19 year old kids would clutch just as much if not more than hiko.

nah man nitro is a good player and you can see that in the way he played agaisnt xset. Its just that he doesnt play that aggressive anymore and usually holds for flanks and holds sites.

100t has been top 3 NA all year.

Their insistence on not having a 2nd fragger is the only thing keeping them from being unstoppable.

Steel thinks he can “outthink” and “out strat”.

Get another fragger and relieve some of the pressure from asuna and they could be the top NA team.

What's wrong with 100t is not the actual players but their attacker playsyle. Their players are so split and devided when attacking. Asuna is always too far ahead of his team so nobody is there to trade whilst the rest are just holding off angles instead of taking the necessary space. Steel is the only other player that plays forward but he is mostly on the lurk so he is not even there. 100t needs to stop being scared and actually be more aggressive. Look at teams like Sentinels who don't have the most insane strats but they play well off each other. 100t is so much better on defense because they play together, on offense it's really bad

IDK man, I feel like the roster must be nuked or they need a ginormous change to their coaching and management. All the players are good individually, but, watching their games it just feels like they aren't playing to their capabilities most of the time. But, we just had a shift in the meta, so, it could be that they are stumbling to find the best strat for this meta.

They were really good this challengers. XSET Sen and 100T were by far the best teams. If the meta doesnt shift to hard with kayo and 100T adapts they should be going to Berlin
