I'm 18 weeks & my SCH has not started to shrink yet. It's still hanging around at 6cm. My Dr. is concerned about my membranes rupturing & PROM. I've had two big bleeds at 10 & 11 weeks & still bleed a little everyday or every other day at least. I'm just getting more worried the farther along I get that it's not shrinking. My Dr. is still giving me a 50/50 of a successful pregnancy. Is it strange that it's not shrinking at all? Is this a bad sign? Mine hasn't shrunk either..... it's at about 11cm. I'm 23 weeks tomorrow and bleed and cramp constantly. It'll be interesting what happens when I am at the "viable" stage next week. The unknown can be scary.... I try and take it a day at a time. Like option Love option Hug option Funny option Sad option Wow optionLikeViolation ReportedReport as Inappropriatebbritt2710

I had a big bleed at 13 weeks and then no bleeding from 14 weeks.

I had nothing show up on my ultrasounds at 14 and 16 weeks and then at my anatomy ultrasound the sch showed up at 3cm. Still no bleeding. At 23 weeks it has grown to 6cm.

Mine seems to be growing with the placenta but my doctor wasn't overly concerned. Can't do anything anyway. I'm.just taking it easy and having pelvic rest.

There are lots of stories of women on here who have their sch bleed and grow past 25 weeks.

Take it easy and don't stress. I know it's hard. I'm 25 weeks now and thankful evey week that goes by closer to 40.

Fingers crossed for you. Like option Love option Hug option Funny option Sad option Wow optionLikeViolation ReportedReport as InappropriateLLParker5

Mine continued to grow until week 19 (largest was 9.7cm). It then stabilized for a few weeks and then slowlyyyy began shrinking. I'm 33 weeks strong now :) hang tight, I too thought I'd never come out of this. I'm still at risk for preterm labor because of it all, but every day that passes I am so grateful Like option Love option Hug option Funny option Sad option Wow optionLikeViolation ReportedReport as InappropriateLLittleLovelace

Mine was discovered at 13w after a bleed (no idea how it had been there as previous ultrasound was at 6w) and it didn't start to shrink til 24 weeks. I'm 27w now and it's still there. Like option Love option Hug option Funny option Sad option Wow optionLike
