MoneyJohn M Anybody figured how to install Michelin Guardian wiper blades from Costco? I noticed, it is a J-hook, so should be simple but was trying to install the driver's side and it would not lock. I checked the piece of paper that came with it but wasn't helpful. Thanks in advance. #1 · Mar 14, 2020 Anybody figured how to install Michelin Guardian wiper blades from Costco? While I am not handy, I think I can follow instructions pretty well, but not this one... #3 · Mar 15, 2020 I just installed the same brand of Michelin wiper blades on my Sonata. It should be the same procedure below. Slide the pre-installed adapter into the J hook. Angle the blade so its T shaped with respect to wiper arm. Pull upwards and you should feel a slight click. 2 small notches should be visible above the metal J hook curve. I've attached a pic. A bit hard to tell but you should see the notches on the inner adapter part.

Exactly, I have 2006 Sentra and it also has a J-hook and this is the process for that but for some odd reason, it didn't work for Forester. I felt like Forester's J-hook is a little wider. @ForesterBill I believe that the video is for the passenger side. I have not opened the 17" wiper box yet. The 26" blade doesn't have anything like that. I checked Michelin's website and for every selection, it says there are no wiper blades available for your vehicle but the handbook at Costco has Forester listed. I think I will just call them up tomorrow if they are working and see if they can give any suggestions. 0 Reply #4 · Mar 15, 2020 Maybe this video will help: If not try another video:

I am familiar with that process for our other vehicle and it is not the process for Subaru for sure. I have given up, got Arco blades now, installed in less than a minute. I am going to return these blades once things settle down. You have insufficient privileges to reply here.
