The 2020 Ducati Panigale V4 continues the Italian manufacturer’s celebrated history of creating powerful, sharply styled, high-performing motorcycles that have stood toe to toe with their Japanese counterparts. Ducati took a cue from its race-winning MotoGP effort and replaced the iconic V-twin that most recently powered the Panigale 1299 with a high-revving, 90-degree 1,103cc V4.
Released in 2018, Ducati continues the Panigale V4 platform through the 2020 model year, tweaking the Panigale V4 platform for rideability and adding the Panigale V2 to its sportbike lineup.

2020 Ducati Panigale V4 Updates
The 2020 Ducati Panigale S sees revisions to its bodywork, with the addition of aerodynamic winglets, frame milling changes, optimization to the Öhlins suspension with a higher center of gravity, recalibration of the electronics package including the ride-by-wire system, Ducati Quick Shift, and Ducati Traction Control, improving out-of corner power control and shortened shift times at high rpms.

2020 Ducati Panigale V4 Price
The base 2020 Panigale V4 features an MSRP of $21,995. The up-spec Panigale V4 S has a price tag of $28,395, with the Panigale V4 S Corse going for $29,995.
The more powerful 2019 Panigale V4 Speciale has an MSRP of $39,995 and comes from the factory with a titanium Akrapovič full exhaust system and is limited to 1,500 units.
The 998cc World Superbike homologation 2019 Ducati Panigale V4 R is priced at an even $40,000.
How Much Power Does The Ducati Panigale V4 Make?
The 2020 Ducati Panigale V4 comes in a variety of trim levels, but the base V4, V4 S, V4 S Corse, and V4 Speciale all share the same 1,103cc V4 engine. The Panigale V4 Speciale comes with a factory Akrapovič full exhaust that bumps its power up to a claimed 223 hp and price tag up above the other models.
Ducati claims the 2020 Panigale V4 produces 214 hp (157.5 kilowatts) at 13,000 rpm and 91.5 pound-feet of torque at 10,000 rpm. On our in-house dyno, the Ducati Panigale V4 S produced 187.45 hp (139.78 kilowatts) at 13,120 rpm and 80.77 pound-feet of torque at 11,290 rpm.
That’s a 13.23 percent difference from what Ducati claims, which is to be expected because of the differences in testing methods.
2020 Ducati Panigale V4 Specs
The Panigale V4 has been an immense success for Ducati, with the V4 R winning a string of World Superbike races this year in the hands of ex-MotoGP rider Álvaro Bautista and other models earning high honors from the media; Cycle World chose the 2018 Ducati Panigale V4 S as its Best Superbike.
