I'm sad that the last chapter  flopped, it was 4000+ words.

And no the purge will not happen yet. We aren't really sure about the purge.

As the intro to the first Purge tells us, the year is 2022. ... The NFFA implemented the Purge as a means of basically concentrating crime and mayhem into one single night (even called a “holiday”) in which all crime is legal and all emergency services are suspended for 12 hours, beginning annually at 7 p.m. on March 21.

Honestly, I don't know why its called a holiday.In history, religion and political science, a purge is a removal or execution of people who are considered undesirable by those in power from a government, another organization, their team leaders, or society as a whole. A group undertaking such an effort is labeled as purging itself.

The Annual Purge was an annual event created by the NFFA that legalized all crimes for 12 hours. It was held from March 21-22, starting from 7pm until 7am. However, it was founded under a lie to reduce the American population.

“The First Purge,” the latest in the dystopian franchise, tells the origin story of the first experimental purge. When filmmaker James DeMonaco and his longtime production partner Sébastien Lemercier started working on “an X-rated treatise on violence,” they had no idea they would eventually conceive of “The Purge.”

The word "Purge" means rid, clear, or free

Thats it for the purge. And the next purge movie would release in the late, possibly early 2021. It was postponed because of the Covid-19 outbreak.
