What is Ritaʻs® Rewards loyalty program?

Rita’s Rewards is our new mobile loyalty program available for all our guests. Much like a traditional paper punch card, join now to earn virtual punchestoward a free treat. Just download the Rita’s Ice Mobile App for Android or iPhone and log in to start earning with Rita’s Rewards.

Why do I have to log in and/or create an account?

Creating an Account allows you to receive special news & offers from your favorite Rita’s locations. It also allows you to keep track of your account activity in order to redeem the sweet rewards you’ve earned!

After I create an account – what happens to my information?

Rita’s respects your privacy and promises never to rent, sell or distribute your personal information.

What are the benefits of joining, and how do I earn rewards?

When you buy your favorite Rita’s treat, present your virtual reward card to earn a Free Regular Italian Ice, Frozen Custard or Gelati on your 8th visit and get other cool news & offers from Rita’s throughout the year.

How do I use my new virtual Ritaʻs Rewards card?

Each time you visit Rita’s and purchase your favorite Rita’s treat, you will be able to punch your virtual card by scanning a QR Code available at each outlet. After your 7th visit you will earn a FREE treat to redeem on your next visit.

How do I earn punches on my Rita's Rewards card?

Guests are able to earn a punch on their virtual reward card after their purchase. To qualify for a punch, the minimum purchase is one Regular Italian Ice.

What is a QR Code and where do I scan one?

“QR Code” stands for Quick Response Code, which is just a convenient way to display a small bit of information. Smartphones scan a QR Code just like a barcode reader. At Rita’s there are a couple of QR Codes you may have even scanned a QR Code to download the Rita’s Ice App. When you’re at your favorite Rita’s, a Treat Team Member will help you scan the QR Code to punch your virtual reward card and start earning rewards!

Will my Rita's Rewards expire?

The Rita’s Rewards virtual reward card expires 2 years from receipt. There are no refunds for unused punches and they are not transferrable or redeemable for cash value.

Once I tap the screen to redeem my virtual Rita's Reward card, is there a time limit to receive my free treat?

Once a Guest taps the screen on their smartphone to redeem their virtual reward card, Guests will have 30 minutes present the screen to a Treat Team Member and get their free treat.

After I share my happiness, where does that information go?

At the very least, all information will be shared with the Franchisee at the location you visited when you punched your virtual reward card and chose to “Share Your Happiness”. If you select and allow the content to be viewed publicly, the Franchisee has permission to share your comments in a number of ways, including on their website or other social networking sites.

Does it cost anything to join Rita's Rewards?

Membership is free.

How often can I use my Rita's Rewards cards?

Guests are only able to receive 1 punch or redemption per visit.

Can I earn punches on my Rita's Rewards virtual reward card and/or redeem my virtual reward card at any Rita's location?

Yes, punches and redemptions for the Rita’s Rewards mobile loyalty program are valid at all locations except carts, theme and amusement parks or locations outside the US.

Who should I contact if I am having issues with my Rita's Rewards card?

Does the Rita's Rewards mobile loyalty program require certain software on my iPhone in order to work properly?

The Rita’s Ice App minimum requirements are Apple’s iOS 10.0 or later, or Android version 4.4 or later in order to perform accurately. Earlier versions of the operating system are not supported.
