Aluminum alloy sheet is sold in the thicknesses and sheet sizes shown in the table. PLEASE NOTE: Small scratches and cosmetic blemishes can occur during the cutting, rolling, packing and shipping processes. Perfect cosmetic condition of sheets cannot be guaranteed. Additionally, if sheets are rolled for more economical shipping, return to original, perfect flat condition cannot be assured. CUTTING CHARGES: We can cut standard sheet sizes shown in the table to special sizes, but special order cutting charges will apply. Cutting Charges range from $20 to $50 or more depending on sizes desired and number of cuts. Special shapes are not cut, only straight edges. Request quote on Cutting Charges prior to order, as special cut pieces are not returnable. Mfg test reports are available for an additional charge per line item.

For years I have been wondering about the rolled for shipment on long aluminum sheets. The 4x6 x.020inch sheet came rolled into an 8inch diameter tube and nicely packed inside a very strong 13x13 inch cardboard box. I would have thought it would have taken a set but when I set it free it expanded out with only a slight curve estimated at 15 to 20 foot diameter. There was no sign of shipping damage but one of the 4ft edges had a 6 inch crease perpendicular to the edge that Im guessing happened when it was being rolled for shipping.

Had a JPI EDM 900 installed in my Mooney so I needed to do some panel work to cover up the holes left from the gauges that were removed. Purchased the 2024T3 ALUM SHEET .032 X 2X2 to do the cover up and am very pleased with the product, how it came shipped (very securely with wood around the edges so no bending would occur) and the speed at which it arrived. It comes with sheets of plastic on both sides, so you dont smug, scratch of otherwise damage the finish. (Helps save finish during the cutting phase of the process) Im planning on painting the sheets that I made black, to match my current panel, so Ill be peeling off the plastic coating on the front and etch painting them in black.
