Ends about 2/3 down the back of the head.It DOES however, work very well for a balding look! If you are going to attach hair along the back edge, or in my case just plop it on top a wig, it will give the desired look of a balding top. Though not entirely realistic, it works great for costuming and fun. Think Albert Einstein and if that's the look you're going for, this is very durable and thick and works well (I used for Mr. Buttons from Our Flag Means Death). Didnt even need to pin it down, though it did have my chest length hair and a wig to help pad my head out and fill the bald cap.Only docked one star for the thick edges.
