Want to type a heart, happy face, flame, or other emoji on your Chromebook? There are three easy ways to open your Chromebook's emoji keyboard—using right-click by tapping the trackpad with two fingers and selecting Emoji, pressing Search + Shift + and Space at the same time, or by tapping the emoji key on the on-screen keyboard. This wikiHow guide will walk you through inserting emoji into any document, app, or website on your Chromebook.
How to Use the Emoji Shortcut on Chromebook
Press the Search, Shift, and Spacebar keys at the same time to launch the emoji keyboard. Add emojis to your document by clicking them on the keyboard.

Tap the trackpad with two fingers and select Emoji. No matter where you're typing on your Chromebook—in a text field on a website or in an app like Google Docs—this action will open the emoji menu. Click any emoji to insert it instantly.
If you have a mouse connected to your Chromebook, you can right-click the typing area instead of two-finger-tapping the trackpad.
