Individuality is a precious thing and when you feel that yours is being taken away, you may feel threatened. People copy other people for a variety of reasons, and understanding why someone is copying you can help you deal with any insecurity or resentment. Whether you think it’s flattering or annoying, imitation has its place in developing who you are as an individual.
