Using YouTube on a TV
-
1 Open YouTube on your TV. If you want to delete YouTube subscriptions using the YouTube app on your smart TV, streaming device, or gaming console, you can do so using your TV remote. Use the TV remote or game controller to navigate to the YouTube app to launch it. - Deleting YouTube subscriptions can be a bit tedious on your TV, as you'll need to go to each channel individually and unsubscribe from the channel's page. If you have access to a phone, tablet, or computer and can sign in to YouTube using the same account, it'll be easier to remove multiple YouTube subscriptions on those devices.
-
2 Select the Subscriptions tab. It's in the left menu. If you don't see a left menu, use the left arrow on your remote to scroll leftward first. -
3 Select a channel and choose Visit Channel. After selecting the channel, you'll see the "Visit Channel" option at the top-right corner. Selecting it will take you to the channel. -
4 Select Subscribed to manage your subscription. You'll see this near the top of the page. A menu will expand. - Some smart TVs and streaming devices may not have this option. In this case, you can manage your subscriptions in the smartphone app or using a computer.
- 5 Select Unsubscribe. This removes the YouTube channel from your subscriptions. Advertisement
