When a cucumber has been quartered, you can simply remove the seeds with your chef’s knife.

1 Wash the cucumber in cool water.[2] -
2 Lay the cucumber on your cutting board and slice the cucumber in half lengthwise using a chef’s knife. -
3 Lay one half of the cucumber on the cutting board with the flesh side down. -
4 Cut the cucumber in half again to create two quarters.[3] -
5 Pick up one quarter of the cucumber and lay it on one of its flat sides that has exposed flesh. -
6 Position your knife over the top of the seeds and slice down diagonally using a downward motion.[4] -
