Removing an oven door makes it a lot easier to reach inside of your oven while you’re cleaning, and it’s super easy to do (no tools required!). No matter what oven brand you have, the doors can be taken off in similar ways —it just depends if there are latches holding them in place. Keep reading, and we’ll walk you through how to take the oven door off and put it back on when you’re finished cleaning.

How to Take an Oven Door Off

Start by opening your oven door and undoing the latches on the door hinges if your model has them. Then, close your door ¾ of the way and hold its sides. Lift the door straight up and off the hinges to remove it.
