Headphones or earbuds tend to be long, and folding them can be really annoying. To avoid the knot sliding out or getting tangled, start with step one to learn how to fold your headphones.

Easy Way to Wrap Your Wired Earbuds

1. Untangle your headphones before wrapping them.
2. Fold them in half, then in half again. Keep going until they’re the length of a small ruler.
3. Loop one end of the headphone around the bundle and make a knot.

1. 1 Check your headphones for knots or tangles. Firstly, make sure that your headphones are free from any knots or tangles.
2. 2 Make a fist. Before you start folding the headphones, make a fist and place the earbuds of the headphone on the lower bottom of your palm. Advertisement
3. 3 Wrap the headphones around your index finger and your pinkies. Wrap until you have a short length of wire left to tie the knot.
4. 4 Make the knot. Carefully take it off from your hand and wrap the rest around the middle of the headphones and make a simple knot.
5. 5 Finished. You can now store it in your pocket or wherever you want to.

Using a DIY Headphone Holder

1. 1 Gather up your supplies. To do a DIY holder, you'll need a small strip of Velcro and some glue.
2. 2 Stick the soft edge of the Velcro to the tail of your headphone. Aim for the area above the plug that is inserted into the phone.
   • Hot glue works well for this.
3. 3 Wait for 5 minutes. Wait for 5-10 minutes so that the glue is dry and the Velcro sticks to the headphone well.
4. 4 Wrap your headphones. Fold your headphones as per your wish and then wrap them using the Velcro strap.
5. 5 Finished! Ready to store.
