Fairies are mythical beings with magical powers. This tutorial will show you step-by-step instructions on how to draw a fairy.
Things You Should Know
First draw a basic outline of your fairy's body using shapes.
Draw four ovals to make the wings.
Add details, like your fairy's hair, face, and clothes.

1 Sketch a large flower.
2 Draw a stick figure of a fairy sitting on the center of the flower. Advertisement
3 Sketch the fairy’s body and add a pair of wings on her back.
4 Draw the fairy’s dress.
5 Sketch the parts of the face like the eyes, nose and lips; frame it with the hairstyle you want. Some fairies have pointy ears, you can also draw it here.
6 Darken the outline of the body you sketched earlier.
7 Refine the lines and erase unnecessary ones.
8 Color the fairy.

1 Sketch a rough outline of the fairy's body using a stick figure. During this step, think of what position you imagine your fairy to be in - she could be sitting or lying down. This illustration will be a sketch of a fairy that is flying. Add a crossed vertical and horizontal line on the face for accurate positioning of the face’s parts.
2 Draw the fairy’s body. Add a pair of wings and refine the hands’ details by drawing the fingers.
3 Sketch a pair of large anime style eyes. Draw the nose and sketch a smiling lip on the fairy’s face.
4 Sketch the outline of the face and frame it with your desired hairstyle.
5 Draw the fairy’s dress.
6 Darken the body’s outline and add design, as desired on the wings.
7 Add pixie dust for added glimmer, if you want.
8 Color the fairy.
