• +1gw13 Feb 2015When this number called me they said they were from Anthem Blue Cross and started asking me for private information such as my birthday, etc. Anthem already contacted me by mail saying to beware of any calls supposedly coming from them. And they said they would never ask for personal info. I assume this call was from someone involved with the recent hack.Reply!

• 0MissKris23 Mar 2015I also got a phone call from this phone number today asking me personal information saying that they were a representative from Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield - I hung up.  This is a scam.  Careful people.

• +1Judy24 Mar 2015 | 1 replyI've gotten 2 phone calls from this number leaving a voice mail saying they are a representative of Anthem Blue Cross with very important information.The phone number they gave me to call back is NOT Anthem Blue Cross. I called Anthem Blue Cross and they said there is absolutely nothing they needed me to talk with me about. This is a scam possibly arising from the cyber attack to Anthem on Jan 29, 2015 that I received a letter about from Anthem.

• 0Jose27 Apr 2015April 27, 201510-15 days ago, I got a phone call from these guys. I told them I could not take it at that moment. They said fine, we will call you back. They called back today.The lady on the phone knew my full name. She identified as Anthem representative, and indicated Anthem provides annual check-ups, so she inquired about my overall health. Then she informed me the phone call will be recorded for quality purposes (?... out of the blue!). Immediately she asked me to confirm my address...So, I told her: "Why? You are the one calling me! You tell me the address you have in record and I will tell you if it is correct or not!" I was expecting she to go through a lengthy explanation of what Anthem is doing and how she is really from Anthem, but, instead, she answered: "I understand then, I am talking with the incorrect person. Goodbye..."Reply!

• 0fieb6 Jul 2015Same kind of experience as others have posted here, but in a messages left on my answering machine the scammer represented himself as calling from Harvard Pilgrim HMO with 'important information'  He asked for a relative who is not at my telephone number. He said his name is Gary . . . (last name something like Coleman or Goldman).  He is listed as originating in Maryland, though the call-back number he left is an 844 number and is not a Harvard Pilgrim number.  I'll block this number

The person wanted to talk to my wife and said that she was calling from Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield and she had a reminder for Linda. I said I was Linda's husband and I was Linda's authorized representative on all of Linda's Insurances and I handle all of Linda's health care. She said I'm sorry I can't give you that information. I said you have to give me that info, I am Linda's legal authorized representative. She said she couldn't, I then asked her for her name her title, her bosses name and title. She said we're not Anthem wer'e a third party representing Anthem. I said yeah I bet you are Goodbye and hung up.

When you sign up with any Health Insurance Company, you are giving them the ability to view your medical records whenever they like. This also grants any company working as a business partner or a 3rd party with the health plan those same rights. Contact your health Insurer and tell them that you would like to mark your records as private and not be included in any reimbursement project that they may conduct. If you are a part of Medicare or Medicaid, your records (all records) are viewable unless you say otherwise. No your rights, read the small print.Reply!
• 0Erin19 Aug 2015I received the call today and never answer calls from numbers I do not know.  They left a message stating they are from Anthem Blue Cross and they have very important information regarding my 16 year old son.  He's had several medical tests done lately so I though maybe it was accurate but now that I have read these posts I will not call back.  Thanks for everyone posting!  It helps us all.  I am going to report the call.Reply!

They (INOVALON) 4th part calling after a 3rd party made called me last week to schedule for a free clinlc, that I pay well over $500.00 a month for health insurance (not OBAMACARE).INOVALONS voicemail instructed me to call them back at 877-809-9473.  Private/confidential Insurance records my AZZ!!Your information is shared with more spammers & scammers NOW then ever before....all collecting " metaDATA"  LOL.
