This year at the Durham Rescue Mission, we will be hosting our 47th Annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner feeding the homeless, hungry, and needy men, women, and children of the Triangle. This event is held outdoors at the Mission campus located at 1201 East Main Street.

This event is a tremendous help for the needy as they receive a free hot meal, free clothing, and free bags of groceries. In addition, there will be lots of fun games for the children.

This event is also a time for the community to come together to provide a hot meal for those who are less fortunate. We will need 425 volunteers to give of their time, to ensure the neediest in our community are not forgotten on this special day. This event has brought together the “have’s” and the “have not’s” for a great meal and time of fellowship. Times are tough, but we all still have much to be thankful for!

Imagine bringing big smiles to the faces of an entire table of hurting and hungry people who are able to enjoy a delicious meal…all because of YOU! This could be the most rewarding Thanksgiving YOU have ever enjoyed…
