Palm branches can be folded into roses, crosses, beehives and whips to adorn a crucifix. Palms are best folded when they are fresh and still flexible. Once the branches dry, they retain their shape and make excellent decorations for Palm Sunday.

Palm Sunday is on the horizon, and with it come hundreds of fresh palm fronds just waiting to be transformed into crosses and roses. You can brush up on your palm-weaving skills by viewing the video below.

When you are done you can create a variety of arrangements to decorate your house or place them behind a crucifix. If you have blessed palm branches from last year, be sure to dispose of them respectfully by burning or burying them.
