2 Quick Tips for Making Wine Sangria
Making homemade wine sangria drinks can be something of an art form. With that in mind, here are a few of our top tips that should have you on your way to becoming a sangria making pro in no time:
- Give the sangria adequate time to soak. All good wine sangrias will need time to chill in order for the ingredients to soak. With that in mind, a general rule of thumb that you can follow is to aim to prepare your sangria anywhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours prior to serving (unless the recipe specifically states otherwise).
- Fresh or frozen fruit? You decide. It’s perfectly fine to use whatever option you prefer between fresh or frozen fruit when it comes to making your own homemade wine sangria. I quite often tend to use frozen fruit for the sole reason being that it tends to be slightly cheaper and easier to keep stored when compared with fresh fruit.

How to Store Watermelon Wine Sangria
You’re going to want to keep your watermelon wine sangria covered with plastic wrap and stored in the fridge for a minimum of one hour after mixing it together.
Beyond that though, you’ll also be able to keep the sangria stored in the fridge like this until it goes bad. Typically, homemade wine sangria recipes like this one will keep for up to 4 to 5 days when properly stored.
