How do you like your beer served? Different people like their beer with a particular taste. Sometimes, the mouthfeel of a beer does not appeal to people. Thus, they are always looking for ways to make it more appealing. A cold, easy-drinking beer is one of the most sought-after drinks during summer. There are various ways to manipulate your beer and give it the taste that you desire. These methods make even the cheapest beer brand taste better. Certain aspects differentiate beers. First, the clarity, which is often dependent on the methods of filtration in use, is a differential factor. Take, for example, the Big Berkey Water Filters, which helps eliminate various contaminants from water.

Ways to Improve the Taste in Beer

There are many ways to manipulate your beer to achieve the desired taste. Some can be done in the comfort of your home, while others are available in local bars. Some restaurants and taprooms use various ways to make different flavors for their customers and also make beers taste better.

1) Mix with Citrus

This method is quite familiar, especially to those who love Corona or Blue Moon. The reason behind this is because the combination of the bitter flavors of the beer and any citrus fruit is quite appealing. Of course, any good connoisseur knows that mixing citrus with dark beer (unless a dark lager) is usually a recipe for disaster.

2) Mix with Salt

This method might seem a little bit awkward before you implement the technique. Salt makes the beer crisper, and in the long run, this might help you enjoy your beer better. Also, some macro breweries might include salt in the brewing process.

3) Mix with Soda

This method is also quite common among people. You can make your beer taste better through the incorporation of a light-colored soda. The reason why people prefer the combination is because of the sweet taste, plus it will not make the carbonation in beer disappear. One might also dispense with the rum and try mixing beer with a drink like Coca-Cola. To get the right flavor in lighter beers, you can try mixing with Mountain Dew, Sprite and Ginger Ale for a zesty, spritzy and sweet shandy-like experience. Match the right beer with the right soda, and you will love the outcome.

4) Mix with Apple Juice

Apple juice is sweet, and beer is quite bitter. The result you get when you mix the sour beer, and fresh juice is known as a shandy. To make a shandy, add in apple juice to a beer in a 1:1 ratio: you can mix a half glass of your alcoholic drink and then fill the other half of the glass with apple juice. The shandy helps in reducing the gas and also the unwanted tart taste in beer, which will make the beer pretty extremely easy to drink (maybe too easy).

5) Campari and Beer

When you combine the bitter taste in beer and the sweet orange taste in Campari, you will have a great-tasting drink. The flavor will be appealing even when a cheap beer is involved. To make the beer even more pleasant, one could add in some lime. Add a drop of Campari in the large glass of beer to make a cocktail. Add in some more Campari to make the beer even easier to imbibe.

6) Add Some Margarita Mix

A bit of Margarita mix added to a beer will make it a beergarita. The sweet taste in the margarita will help lighten the bitter taste of the beer. The ratio in which you choose to mix both drinks will depend on the flavor you want. You can go for a 1:1 ratio or 2:3, where 2 is the margarita if you want a stronger beverage. You can opt to add in the margarita drop by drop until it gets to the taste you desire as well.

Other than the above methods, there are plenty of ways in which you can make your beer work better for your taste buds. One approach can include the use of frozen strawberries, tomatoes and several others. Enjoy your new beer flavors and share these ways to your friends too.
