After two years of postponement due to COVID-19, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is scheduled to return from Feb. 28 through March 20, and a weekend shuttle service is available from The Woodlands Express.

Dates to know

Feb. 24-26: Bar-B-Que Contest (Carnival open during contest dates)Feb. 28: Gates open 2 p.m.March 1-20: Gates open 8 a.m.

The Woodlands Express shuttle service

A shuttle service is available at 701 Westridge Road, The Woodlands.Shuttle cost: $13 (round trip) Tickets: www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/rodeoDates of operation: Feb. 24-26, March 4-6, 11-13, 18-20

Rodeo tickets

Protocols

• Hand-washing stations are located in Agventure, near the petting zoo and pony rides, near Fun on the Farm and Mutton Bustin’.• Face coverings are required for those on public transportation.• Many concession stands and the Champion Wine Garden are cashless.• Electronic ordering is available for food orders in some areas.• Electronic ticket purchase and delivery are available.Protocols are subject to change.

The 2022 live music lineup features performers from the worlds of country, pop, rock, hip-hop and other styles of music. Times given are rodeo start times.
