But finding the sounds you were looking for was a monumental task, since the libraries were scattered across a myriad of individual websites.With A Sound Effect, you can now search, preview, compare and get exactly the sounds you’re after, all in one place. And by getting sounds from the community, you support individual sound designers and recordists – that’s a pretty cool thing too!

Are these sounds royalty-free? Is attribution required?

Yes, they’re royalty-free and no attribution is required. You can see the full license agreement here

We’re a team who need to use these sounds – what do we do?

Simply select the number of Sound Designers or Audio Workstations who can access the sounds when you’re in the Cart. A multi-user discount is automatically applied.

I have special licensing requirements – what do I do?
