So, you've got your account and pseudonym set up and now you want to post a work. How do you do that?

There are several ways.

1. New Work

Either go to your Dashboard and select "Post New".

Or you can hover over "Post" in the upper-right hand corner of the screen next to the "Log Out" button and select "New Work"

2. Import Work

There are two ways you an import a work from an existing URL. Either select "Import Work" from the drop-down menu under the "Post" button in the top right-hand corner of the screen, or you can go to "Post New" from your dashboard.

Once in "Post New", you'll get a screen that looks like this:

Select "Import From An Existing URL Instead?". 

Do note that AO3 cannot import works from FanFiction.net or Quotetv.com, as those sites do not allow imports.

3. From Drafts

As with the others, there's a few ways you can go about this. The easiest is by selecting the "From Drafts" option in the drop-down menu under "Post"

If you go under "New Work" via your Dashboard and have a draft already saved, select "Restore From Last Unposted Draft?".

You can also simply go into your Drafts section and publish from there.
