Aaron Taylor-Johnson is an English actor, best known for playing important roles in films like 'Kick-Ass,' 'Kick-Ass 2,' and 'Avengers: Age of Ultron.' Known for his eccentricity, he broke many rules by marrying British director Sam Taylor-Wood who is 24 years his senior. Aaron usually concentrates on one project a year in order to give his best. Though he finds work therapeutic, his priority is his family. Aaron started acting while he was still in school. However, he never mentioned about his acting endeavors to anyone at school as he feared that people might not take it positively. When asked about his absence from school, he would just say that he was away somewhere. When Aaron was a child, he learned gymnastics and dance (tap and jazz). His interest in dance would later help him in filming the fight scenes of his ‘Kick-Ass’ movies where the action scenes were choreographed. For six months, he and his mother lived in the red-light district of Amsterdam. They were still living there when he was filming his debut feature film ‘Tom & Thomas.’ His favorite actors are Gary Oldman and Daniel Day-Lewis.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson was born Aaron Perry Johnson on June 13, 1990, in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England. Johnson has an English, Russian, and Jewish ancestry.

His family consists of his father Robert Johnson, a civil engineer by profession, mother Sarah Johnson, a housemaker, and sister Gemma Johnson

In Aaron’s own words, “I grew up in a pretty rubbish area outside of London.” His statement indicates that he did not have a luxurious childhood.

He attended ‘Holmer Green Senior School.’ He also went to ‘Jackie Palmer Stage School’ in High Wycombe (1996 to 2008) where he learnt drama, tap, jazz, acrobatics, and singing.
