“He’s starting to look more and more like you every day,” Inko said one quiet night. She fondly looked down the hallway where Izuku’s bedroom.

Izuku had already gone to bed, leaving behind his parents to their conversation in the late hours.

Shouta leaned back in his chair. “He still looks more like you,” he said.

Inko smiled. “My coloring maybe. But you know, just the other day I realized he was taller than me. He has been for awhile, when I think about it, but I hadn’t really noticed that I started to look up at his face.” She smiled. “I bet he’ll grow as tall you.”

“Maybe,” Shouta said, smiling back at her. “But I think it would be cuter if he took after you and stayed at his current height. It’s a nice average height. Finding properly sized clothes at my height is a pain.”

“Don’t stay that,” Inko said. “It’s not my fault that you’re such a towering giant.”

“No, I blame my parents for that,” Shouta said dryly.
