Abyss Herald attacks have a long windup, and most of them can be easily dodged by running behind him. Try to stay close to him.

This only affects the active character hit, and this does not affect skills that aren't on cooldown.

Once the Abyss Herald drops below a certain HP, it will summon a shield and deal DMG to nearby characters.

The shield absorbs incoming damage. Destroying the shield will immediately kill the Abyss Herald, regardless of how much HP is left.

If you stand directly behind the Abyss Herald when the attack finishes, you will not get hit.
