Though many are already well aware, Harry Styles’ mysterious, sea foam green eyes were proven by science to be the most beautiful in the entire world.

The U.K.’s Centre for Advanced Facial Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery recently published a study using the Golden Ratio, a form of measurements to detect how symmetrical a face is, to identify exactly which male celebrities are objectively the most handsome. And what did they find? “Sweet Creature” Styles was on top of the most gorgeous eyes category mathematically, due to the length of his eyes and the distance between them.

The study examined who is most attractive overall and who has the best facial features, such as eyes, nose, chin, and face shape. Though it was proven just how easy it is to get lost in the One Direction singer’s eyes, the study found actor George Clooney to be the most attractive overall, putting the “Sign of the Times” singer in fourth place.

Other interesting outcomes included Styles’ chin being found to be the best looking, Styles’ former 1D bandmate Zayn Malik finishing as the ninth most attractive and other beautiful eye contenders including Will Smith, Brad Pitt, Clooney, and Idris Elba.

Beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, but it’s pretty hard to argue with science here.
