‘How Long’, the most popular track off of Five-a-side, was first released as a single, peaking at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 on May 30th, 1975.

The track is typically assumed to be about cheating, however, the track was originally written by the group’s lead singer Paul Carrack, after learning Ace’s bassist Terry Comer was working with The Sutherland Brothers, a Scottish soft rock duo of the time.
