1. Why does Cassio enter Act 3 with musicians? Cassio enters act 3 with musicians because he is trying to ease the tension with Othello in order to ask for his job back. By bringing in the musicians and clown, Cassio is trying to please him. But instead it annoys Othello. 2. How does Iago engineer the first “suspicious behavior” between Cassio and Desdemona in Act 3? Iago plans out his next scheme with Cassio and Desdemona by making Othello go to another area while Cassio can speak to Desdemona privately to ask for his job back. 3.When does Othello say that “Chaos” will “come again” ? The item Emelia brings in this act is the handkerchief. The handkerchief was given to Desdemona by Othello, which is mom has passed on to him. It's a special handkerchief because it was made by cultural witches who claimed it’s very sentimental.8.In the experience of Jealousy, which part is the worst? In the experience of Jealousy, the worst part is seeing what you want with something else. You will start to feel really insignificant and try to figure out what you’re not doing that someone else is to get what they have that you don’t. Jealousy in this story is with Othello towards Cassio and Desdemona. The thoughts of Desdemona and Cassio eats him alive because he’s wondering how he can get more love and attention that Cassio “has”. Jealousy brings out your insecurities and could be used against you if heard by the wrong people. The wrong people will know your weakness and can get you one day and really hurt you. (Act I, Scene I) Iago says this quote, he tells them that he has the skill to manipulate people, this quote means that he is not who he says to be and he plays games with people, this effects everyone later because of all the lying.
  • "T'is neither here nor there." (Act IV, Scene III, line 58) Desdemona says this quote, Desdemona and Emelia are discussing their marriages, this quote means that there husbands aren't always there to be with them, most of the time Othello and Iago is away .
  • "I kissed thee ere I killed thee, no way but this, Killing myself, to die upon a kiss." (Act V, Scene II) Othello said this quote, the context is Othello is gonna kiss her one last time before killing her, this quote means that he won't kill her yet only a kiss first, it was their last moment before she dies.
  • "By heaven, thou echo'st meAs if there were some monster in thy thoughtToo hideous to be shown." Othello said this quote, this is about Iago echoing him, this quote means that Othello thinks that Iago is hiding something from him, but Iago is just playing with his mind to let Othello pry more and get the answer out from him.

Othello has given it to Desdemona and Othello will assume she was in Cassio’s room which is bad and it’ll make them look like they were seeing eachother.11.Explain the reversal that has happened in the end of Act 3 scene 3The reversal in act 3 is the way Othello looks at Desdemona. He is super angry with her and doesn’t see her as the innocent and loyal wife anymore. His mind changes and he thinks of her as a strumpet now. 12.Why does Desdemona think Othello has been acting so strange near the end of the act? Desdemona thinks Othello is acting strange at the end of the act because of something at work.
