Adjust your birthday privacy settings

Last updated: 3 years ago You can control who sees your birthday information, as well as who receives notifications about your birthday on LinkedIn from the Contact info section of your introduction section on your profile. Desktop Mobile

To adjust your birthday privacy settings:

1. Click the Me icon at top of your LinkedIn homepage.

2. Click View Profile.

3. Click Contact info in your introduction section.

4. Click the Edit icon in the Contact Info pop-up window.

5. In the Edit contact info pop-up window, fill out the Birthday date.

6. Click the Visibility icon and select one of the following options:

   • Only you - Visible to you
   • Your connections - Visible to members directly connected to you
   • Your network - Visible to LinkedIn members connected up to three degrees away from you
   • All LinkedIn members - Visible to all members signed into LinkedIn
7. Click Save.

To adjust your birthday privacy settings:

1. Tap your profile picture.

2. Tap View Profile.

3. Tap the More icon (next to Add section) in your introduction section and select Contact info.

4. (iOS)Tap Edit to the right of Contact.

5. In the Edit contact info page, fill out the Birthday date.

6. Tap Done/Set.

7. Tap the Visibility icon and select one of the following:

   • Only you - Visible to you
   • Your connections - Visible to members directly connected to you
   • Your network - Visible to LinkedIn members connected up to three degrees away from you
   • All LinkedIn members - Visible to all members signed into LinkedIn

8. Tap Save.

Note: We currently don’t offer privacy controls for your work anniversary.
