FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Are classes held in person?

All classes are currently virtual, unless otherwise noted. We will begin offering in-person classes in September 2021.

When should I register for a class?

As soon as possible! This will secure your spot and make sure that you have time to gather the supplies needed for your course. We strongly encourage students to register AT LEAST 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE of the first class to ensure placement.

What should I bring to class?

Upon registration you will receive a list of materials to purchase prior to your first class meeting.

What if I want to cancel a class?

You can cancel anytime by emailing our Education Programs Manager at [email protected]. To receive a full refund you have to cancel 24 hours prior to the start of the first class. You will receive 75% of the refund if you cancel less than 24 hours prior to and through the end of first class.

Is there a discount offer if I refer a friend?

Yes! Register with a friend and get 10% off the class fee. Register with 5 friends and one person takes the class for free.

I’d love to take a virtual class but I’m really self-conscious about being on camera. What should I do?

Our instructors work hard to create an inclusive and positive learning environment for people from all walks of life. You always reserve the right to have your camera off and that is okay!

Do I need to have previous experience in art to sign up for a class?

Our classes are structured for beginners, unless otherwise noted. We just ask students to bring their eagerness to learn!

What’s the difference between Oil Painting 101 A and Oil Painting 101 B?

They occur on different dates and may have different instructors. Sections A, B, and C of any class are the same level and course content.
