About the programWhat is AIM?
ICAO defines Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) as the dynamic, integrated management of aeronautical information services through the provision and exchange of quality-assured digital aeronautical data, in collaboration with all parties.
In November 2018, Doc 10066 – Procedures for Air Navigation Services (PANS) Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) had become applicable to the Aeronautical Information Services (AIS) which detailed the requirements for the collection, management and provision of aeronautical data and aeronautical information in support of the transition from product-based AIS to data-centric AIM.
With the focus towards data centric environment and to meet the requirements of ICAO Annex 4 Aeronautical Charts and Annex 15 Aeronautical Information Services, Airservices AIS is working collaboratively with industry to further improve the quality of the Products and Services.

AIP resourcesAmendment calendar portalDocument amendment calendar
Airservices utilises a cyclic quarterly amendment calendar for the updating and production of the Integrated Aeronautical Information Package. This necessitates that aeronautical data and information be submitted to the AIS in a timely manner to ensure changes can be processed and published in products for the required effective date. The Document Amendment Calendar provides guidance for data originators on the dates that documents become effective and by when information should be submitted to the AIS.
