AEW Full Gear 2021 – Match Card, Predictions, Date, How To Watch

AEW presents its third annual Full Gear pay-per-view (and the last big show of 2021) live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota on November 13.

Last year's Full Gear featured Kenny Omega defeating "Hangman" Adam Page in the finals of the AEW World Championship Eliminator tournament.

This year, Omega and Page face each other again but this time the stakes are different, as the AEW Championship is on the line.

Full Gear 2021 will also see Bryan Danielson vs Miro, CM Punk vs Eddie Kingston, and The Inner Circle take on the Men of the Year and members of American Top Team including Dan Lambert.

AEW Full Gear card: What's the full match card and predictions for AEW Full Gear?

AEW Championship: Kenny Omega (c) vs Hangman Page

Despite the fact these two faced each other just last year, this is one of the most anticipated wrestling matches in a long time.

Fans of AEW have followed the story of Hangman Page from the company's inception, watching him fail to become the first AEW Champion back at All Out 2019.

Since then we've seen Hangman team with Kenny and capture the tag team titles, and struggle with his self-confidence as their relationship broke down.

With the crowd firmly behind him, Hangman now seems primed to finally capture the gold and lead the Target Center in a chant of "Cowboy Shit," when he finally vanquishes Omega.

Prediction: "Hangman" Adam Page

AEW Women's Championship: Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D vs Tay Conti

All Elite Wrestling (AEW)

Britt Baker has been dominating the AEW women's division ever since she captured the Women's Championship at Double or Nothing in May.

The only problem with Baker's reign has been the lack of credible challengers for the fans to really rally behind.

Tay Conti can certainly get the crowd behind her but this match has suffered from a real lack of storyline build over the past few months.

With Baker' seemingly still head and shoulders above the rest of the division in terms of popularity, it only makes sense for the D.M.D. era to continue.

Prediction: Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D

AEW World Championship Eliminator: Bryan Danielson vs Miro

Bryan Danielson and Miro might be two "ex-WWE guys" but they've only had one singles match against each other in their careers.

Miro is just coming off a dominant TNT Championship reign where he reinvented his character, going from gamer to redeemer.

Danielson is one of the best wrestlers in the world and he appears to be having the time of his life so far in AEW.

While Danielson might be the obvious choice to win, if Hangman Page is the next AEW Champion, a heel Miro actually makes more sense as a first challenger.

Prediction: Miro

AEW Tag Team Championship: The Lucha Brothers (c) vs FTR

All Elite Wrestling (AEW)

The Lucha Brothers captured the AEW Tag Team Championship in one of the matches of the year so far at All Out in September.

At the time the team of Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fénix were also the AAA Tag Team Champions but they lost those belts unexpectedly to FTR last month on Dynamite.

Now the two teams, who are as stylistically different as they come, will meet again, with FTR looking to take the gold for the second time in AEW.

With the reign of The Lucha Brothers feeling like it's just getting started, it makes the most sense for them to retain here.

Prediction: The Lucha Brothers

Minneapolis Street Fight: The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara, Santana, and Ortiz) vs. Men of the Year (Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page) and American Top Team (Junior dos Santos, Andrei Arlovski and Dan Lambert)

All Elite Wrestling (AEW)

The feud between The Inner Circle and American Top Team is one of the hottest in AEW, thanks to the excellent mic work of both Chris Jericho and Dan Lambert.

Lambert has been running down AEW, its roster, and fans for months now and at Full Gear he'll finally have to get into the ring himself.

The Minneapolis Street Fight stipulation means this match will probably be crazy, with plenty of weapons and big, crowd-pleasing spots.

Also, expect Paige Van Zant to get involved since she's been one of the highlights of the entire feud.

Prediction: The Inner Circle

CM Punk vs. Eddie Kingston

All Elite Wrestling (AEW)

The feud between CM Punk and Eddie Kingston might have kicked off due to an interruption but these two had one of the best segments of the year on last week's Rampage.

The pair have 14 years of history together and their rivalry runs deep, with Kingston accusing Punk of judging him for his weight early on in his career and delivering the killer line on Rampage: "Nobody wants you here."

For those who have been wanting to see the old CM Punk, rather than the happy Punk we've been seeing in AEW so far, that headbutt he delivered to Kingston on Friday showed he hasn't lost his venom.

Prediction: CM Punk

Darby Allin vs. MJF

All Elite Wrestling (AEW)

Darby Allin and MJF are two of the original four pillars of AEW and while big, recent signings have elevated the company, these two are the future of AEW.

Both are coming off losses to bigger stars at the last PPV, with Allin falling to Punk and MJF losing to Jericho, so it's really a toss-up as to who will win here.

But, once again, if babyface Hangman Page is the next AEW Champion, MJF would be a perfect heel challenger for him in the near future.

Prediction: MJF

Christian Cage and Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) vs. Superkliq (Adam Cole, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson)

The feud between Jurassic Express and the Superkliq has led to some exciting matches and this six-man at Full Gear should be no exception.

Adam Cole has become one of the highlights of AEW since his big debut at All Out and he's destined to be one of the company's future top stars.

Jungle Boy is also one of AEW's most exciting young prospects and fans are just waiting for the company to fully pull the trigger on him. Could Full Gear be his big moment for an elevation?

Prediction: Superkliq
