All Part 21 aircraft types that qualify for a Part 21 Certificate of Airworthiness (C of A) are issued with a non-expiring C of A, which is validated annually with an Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC).

This annual validation occurs when a new ARC is issued, or the validity of a current ARC is extended.

Who can apply?

• Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations (CAMOs) that hold the appropriate Part-CAMO approval with the privilege to carry out Airworthiness Reviews.
• Combined Airworthiness Organisations that hold the appropriate Part-CAO approval with the privilege to carry out Airworthiness Reviews.
• Maintenance Organisations that hold the appropriate Part 145 approval to carry out airworthiness reviews and issue ARCs on aircraft under Part-ML.
• Engineers that hold a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) approval to carry out airworthiness reviews and issue ARCs on aircraft under Part-ML.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) will provide a log in to the ARC Online system to UK CAA approved Part-CAMO, Part-CAO or Part 145 organisations that have been granted the ARC privilege as part of an initial approval or change to an existing approval application, following issue of the approval certificate.

Appropriately approved certifying staff will be provided with a log in to the ARC Online system once their approval has been issued.
