- 1 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)
- white or black sesame seeds
- ½ tsp sriracha (optional)
- (optional) wasabi (optional)

- spicy sriracha mayo
- eel sauce
- bang bang sauce
- Tobiko Sauce / Masago Sauce

How To Make Alaska Roll Sushi
Making of Sushi Rice:
- First rinse the rice well with clean water so there is no starch remaining. Shake off excess water.
- Take a saucepan and fill it with water.
- Add 1 tablespoon of salt, mix well and then pour the washed rise into the saucepan. You can also use an instant pot instead of a saucepan.
- Cook the rice for 12 to 15 min on a medium high heat. Make sure to cover it while cooking. If you’re using an instant pot, then set it on high pressure for 6 to 8 min (with full natural release).
- After the rice is cooked, shift to a bowl and let it cool down.
- Add the sushi vinegar rice vinegar to the rice and mix well.
Preparation of Spicy Crab Mix:
- Shred imitation crab meat or Alaskan crab meat.
- Add mayonnaise and sriracha and mix imitation crab meat or Alaskan crab meat.
Make Alaskan Sushi Rolls
- Lay down the bamboo sushi rolling mat.
- Take the half nori sheet and place it on the bamboo mat.
- Grab the cooked rice and spread gently on the nori sheet.
- Make a medium thick layer of the rice by using soft hands. Use wet hands to avoid sticking.
- It’s time to flip the nori sheet. Once you flip, the nori sheet will face up and the rice side goes down against the bamboo mat.
- Now place the crab mixture, a row of cucumber and avocado slices on the nori sheet. The placement of the ingredients should be 1 inch away from the bottom. Be careful to not add many because it will make it hard for sushi to close well.
- Grab the bamboo sushi mat and nori with your thumb. Lift the edge up and start rolling both slowly with your fingers by giving some gentle push.
- Keep tight and keep rolling until the edges mix with each other.
- The sushi with rolled rice is ready for the topping.
- Sprinkle the sesame seed on sushi rolls and top with thin salmon slices.
- Roll the bamboo mat again and shape Alaska roll sushi.
