EXHIBITIONS

ALEJANDRO MONTINI (Córdoba / Argentina in 1958). In 1973 he begins to be linked to the analogical image in a self-taught way, then he studies with Professor Carlos A. Sapere. Years later, he enrolled in the Film School of the National University of Córdoba, but soon after it was closed by the military dictatorship, a situation that led him to seek new horizons. In 1984, he settled in Tierra del Fuego, where he made the project "Periferia" for the National Directorate of Visual Arts, and worked as a cultural communicator for the Fuegian Directorate of Culture. In the mid-90s, he returned to his hometown, where he began to specialize in digital photography, discovering a new medium to work with the image. In 2012, Juan Travnik, invites him to exhibit at the important FotoGalería del Cultural San Martín in Buenos Aires, from there, he begins a path that does not stop in learning, always experimenting and accepting new challenges in the Visual Arts. He exhibited in museums and galleries in Argentina and abroad: He is the first Argentine photographer to exhibit individually at the National Academy of Fine Arts of China, 2022 (Hangzhou); Multicultural Contribution Award.
