It might be hard to tell on The Pioneer Woman show, but the Drummond family is pretty dang tall. Almost all of Ree's kids stand above 6 feet, with only Alex falling a bit short—pun intended! Still, at 5 feet 10 inches, she's technically taller than the average woman. (This height might come from Ladd's side of the family. Ree's late mother-in-law Nan was "a supermodel-level stunner" at almost 6 feet tall!)

During a recent Instagram Q&A, one of Alex's followers—who's a fellow tall girl—asked how she feels about her height. Alex gave a very candid answer, explaining how her opinions about being tall have shifted over time.

"Definitely used to struggle with it more/be more insecure about it," she admitted. "But I've grown to embrace it over the past few years."

You go, girl! Then, Alex went on to share an important reminder about body positivity in general.

"You just have to remember that people come in alllllll shapes and sizes and also it's okay for some girls to be taller or bigger than their male counterparts," she said. "The only reason taller girls are insecure is because of the notion that women need to be more petite than men, which is false!!"

She added that "shorter girls have their insecurities, too!" And so do average-height girls, and so does everyone else in-between. The moral of the story? Every body is beautiful! ❤️
