Characteristics[]

The rounds consist of a cylinder of blue energy capped at each end by metal disks, enclosing a caged projectile.[1] It is the main ammunition type used by alien weaponry.

Weapons using this ammunition[]

  • Alien blaster pistol
  • Nuka-World (add-on) Hub's Alien Blaster
  • Alien atomizer Creation Club
  • Alien disintegrator Creation Club

Locations[]

  • 295 to 500 rounds are found on the alien in the cave near the UFO crash site, plus whatever is in the magazine.
  • Nuka-World (add-on) Up to 110 rounds can be gained as a reward for completing the quest Trip to the Stars.
  • Creation Club Can be looted from the aliens in the quest Over the Moon.

Notes[]

  • With level four of the Science! perk, the alien weapons can be modified to use more common fusion cells as ammo, with only a negligible drop in damage.
  • When an enemy is killed using these rounds, they are sometimes reduced to a pile of blue ash.
  • Clipping into a round reveals a spherical projectile inside the canister, held in place with metal rods.[1]
