How Many Kingdoms Are There in Super Mario Odyssey?

Counting the three extra "kingdoms" that players can visit in the post-game of Super Mario Odyssey, there a total of 17 kingdoms that Mario can travel to. Almost every kingdom in the game has its own set of Purple Coins and Power Moons to collect. Not every kingdom is the same size, but each one has its own distinct theme, and enemies to take over using Mario's unique capture mechanic.

How to Unlock the Secret Kingdoms

To unlock the throwback kingdom that is the Mushroom Kingdom, players will need to beat the main story of Super Mario Odyssey. To unlock the Dark Side of the Moon, players need to collect 250 Power Moons. And then to unlock the Darker Side, 500 Power Moons are required.
