Innersloth finally has a release date for the new Among Us map, ‘The Airship'. Innersloth announced on Twitter that The Airship map will launch on March 31. It will be available as a free update on Android and iOS.

The Airship is the biggest Among Us map yet, and it will feature all new tasks. The Airship will be joining the current three maps - The Skeld, Polus and Mira HQ. The new map is based on the Toppat Clan Airship from the Henry Stickmin series, the last game created by Innersloth. This is the first map Innersloth is launching after the game blew up last year due to Covid-19 lockdown restrictions. The craze was surprising for Innersloth themselves who actually thought they were done with Among Us, and were ready to move on to a different game.

In the new Among Us map, there will be new tasks, and it will also feature ladders and elevators for players to move from one place to another. Another interesting addition to The Airship is that players can start off in different rooms after an emergency meeting. In the present maps, all players continue from the emergency meeting room.

In addition to the new map, Among Us is also finally getting accounts. Innersloth said it will launch a “preliminary” account system that should help with moderation. Innersloth explained in a blog how Among Us lacked a proper moderation system, and it has finally developed one. Innersloth will also release free hats with this update for “being so patient” with them on the new map.
