Among Us Shares Its Roadmap For 2022 - Nintendo Life

A 2022 road map for the smash hit multiplayer game Among Us has been released by developer Innersloth. Apart from 'Map 5' - which is still on the way, the team's main focus "at the moment" is a friend list and quality of life improvements.

"I know I know, you’ve been asking for a Friend’s List for ages!! It’s happening!! Finally you’ll be able to keep in contact with any Crewmates you get along with … or keep tabs on your greatest enemies, I guess? We know a ton of you have found some lifelong friendships from this game and that’s really cool – we want to allow you to keep in touch and continue playing games together!

"As for quality of life updates, many of you have found some of the account creation, Cosmicube redemption, chat choice, and other aspects of the game flow a bit confusing. Understandable! You’re basically experiencing the building of Among Us and our adjustment to its popularity with us haha. That being said, confusing you isn’t the goal, so making improvements to the UX is also coming up next. Thanks for being patient with us!"

In the near future, players can also expect "more roles", "more cubes", Hide 'n Seek and more collaborations. Here's the visual:

One other additional thing "coming soon" to Among Us is free Ghostface cosmetics (inspired by the new Scream movie). A manga and Nendoroids were also recently revealed.

My problem with this is it feels like too little, too late. The additional roles would have been PERFECT for me if it had come out, like, 6 months earlier. But it's really hard to be interested in this game anymore.

I can't wait for them to add Hide 'n' Seek entirely so that I stop accidentally entering lobbies for it because it's the worst.

That is so cool. Hope hide and seek comes out soon. I hate logging into a random game only to find out it is a hide and seek game.
