How To Get Iron NuggetsFast

Iron Ore Farming Method Procedure

No.	Procedure
1	Equip axe or shovel & hit all rocks on the island
2	Eat Fruits
3	Break rocks on the island
4	Repeat steps 1-3 the next day

1. Use Axe Or Shovel To Hit Rocks

You can gather ore by hitting the rocks on the island with your axe or shovel. You can hit any rock for a limited number of times, usually up to 8 times, & the materials that will drop are random.

Dig Holes Behind Yourself

If you dig 2 holes behind yourself in a formation like the one in the above picture, you'll be able to get 8 hits off quickly without being knocked backwards!

3. Break Rocks After Eating Fruit

After you've eaten any Fruits, you'll be able to break, instead of just hit rocks, when you use your axe or shovel. One rock will respawn per day, so while you don't need to worry, you also shouldn't break all the rocks on your island.

Go On Mystery Tour With Nook Miles

If you run out of rocks and have 2,000 Nook Miles, you can book a mystery island tour. There are some islands where Iron Nuggets spawn much more frequently from rocks!

Alternate - Floating Presents

Sometimes Iron Nuggets are contained in presents dropped by balloons floating above your island! Pop them with a Slingshot to get them down on the ground! For us, one present contained 5 Iron Nuggets!

Iron Nuggets can be sold at 375 bells. When you have more than enough Iron Nuggets, sell them for money farming.
