Rick began his business, Rick Steves' Europe located in Edmonds, Washington, near Seattle in 1976. Here, he works on his travelling guide books, some of which are bestsellers, and his various television and radio shows informing people of the marvellous European travelling destinations.

The travel enthusiast spends at least four months every year in Europe doing research for his guidebooks, tour program, and making discoveries.

Anne Steves and Rick Steves wedding

Anne and Rick were friends and had been dating for a long time before making it official. They tied the knot in 1984 in a private wedding ceremony at St. Thomas in Villanova, Pennsylvania. The wedding's reception happened at Saint David's Gold Club.

Even though it is public knowledge that Rick Steves and Anne Steves married in 1984, there is no substantiated information about their exact wedding date. Anne only revealed that her Biedermeier was made of roses and traces of Hydrangea.

Divorce
