‎ Sep 28, 2021 #1 She little brother zoned Kaido when they were on the same crew and knowing that dynamic and Oda, Linlin should not only be stronger but with gag force be able to completely bypass Kaido’s durability without trying. Kaido had to be gifted his devil fruit by her because he was apparently so weak and too much of a damsel on distress being captured by the Navy over and over. SOME L’s CAN NEVER BE WIPED AWAY. No wonder he is suicidal, not even Pre-Timeskip Luffy has ever been captured by the Marines. Big Mom had zero regard for Kaido’s threats and sailed into his territory with just her main ship while missing 3 of her most valuable fighters. This implies that she thinks the “disadvantage” is redundant because she can handle Kaido and his crew while handicapped and that she believes her officers and lesser commander Smoothie are more than enough. Base Big Mom with just Napoleon stalemated Kaido but wasn’t all that serious. She also has more combat intelligence than Kaido surprisingly enough to the point she has to yell for Kaido to dodge attacks that’ll kill him. Hell Linlin wasn’t even sustained with an actual meal beforehand to meet her caloric needs and still finds the thought of Kaido killing her laughable. Her durability is indirectly being portrayed as superior to Kaido’s, having yet to have bleed and I don’t recall any instances of her crying out in pain. Her Conquerors Haki is also so strong that it has an echo effect that was never before seen, knocking out people floors away while only directing it at two people. Law and Kid individually are like 80% as strong as Luffy at worse. So fighting them both together with nothing but a smile and some dirt is a better feat than fighting Luffy alone really. I feel this is overlooked too much since everyone is apparently mesmerized by Kaido and Yamato fighting Kaido. Finally. Luffy still has business with Big Mom and she will be relevant for sure past this arc. Kaido is losing and popular theory is that Zoro kills him.

‎ Sep 28, 2021 #5 I'd say they are about even. Big mom has more experience and is the smarter one. Kaido is more of just a brute but his Oni lineage and DF help with his durability a ton. Both have very powerful attacks. F

He had no reason to envision Linlin when she was currently on the island with him, fighting alongside him because they allied themselves… As equals… He also didn’t think of a single marine despite being captured multiple times and Garp is famous for being the Pirate King’s top marine rival.

Click to expand... Yes. That list is literally just pirates who Kaido respects IMO. Obviously strength is important to gain Kaido's respect but that list isn't just purely based off of strength. Kaido putting Oden there and not Big Mom in a list of just strength when he technically one shotted Oden and stalemated Big Mom after 3 days of fighting is just retarded. Add in the fact that Garp and Rayleigh are missing and it is pretty clear that the list is just pirates that he respects.

‎ Sep 28, 2021 #11 Durability wise she is presumably better, AP wise likely the other way around. They stalemated one another in their Base forms and Big Mom has no Hybrid but she didn't use full power homies either. I would rather better on Kaido after a fight lasting for weeks.

‎ Sep 28, 2021 #20 I’m of the opinion that she’s better offensively, thanks to the versatility of her fruit but also she’s shown to be extremely strong without her melee weapon, Kaido obviously is the defense focused one but that doesn’t mean his offense isn’t top tier as well he just heavily relies on his club and his fruit helps him outlast opponents. Just as well Big Mom’s defense isn’t a joke either but it’s not like the dragon scales! To me Big Mom and Kaido are two sides of the same coin, they’re superior in a field where the other is weaker and together they are an unstoppable force!
