Apex Legends: How To Get Legend Tokens (The Fast Way)

Legend Tokens are a currency in Apex Legends used to purchase new playable characters, unlock recolors for Legendary Skins in the in-game Store, and reroll Daily Challenges. Regarding character obtainment, Legend Tokens are the F2P-friendly way of getting new Legends without spending the precious premium currency of Apex Coins. Legends have consistently cost 12,000 Legend Tokens each, including the latest character, Newcastle.

As for recolors in Apex Legends, it is important to note that Legend Tokens only can be used to unlock the alternate version of a Legendary Skin and not the item itself. For example, The Liberator is a Legendary Skin for Wraith that can be acquired with 1,800 Apex Coins or 1,200 Crafting Metals. Once players own this skin, they are then eligible to procure Final Sunset, a recolor of The Liberator, for 10,500 Legend Tokens instead of spending another 1,800 Apex Coins. Finally, rerolling challenges with Legend Tokens only cost 200 at first but increase to 500 for the second reroll. Subsequent resets, such as the third, fourth, or fifth, are priced at 1,000 Legend Tokens.

The primary way to earn Legend Tokens in Apex Legends is through leveling. Every time the player's account reaches a higher level, they will receive a fixed sum of 600 Legend Tokens. Therefore, purchasing a new character costs 20 levels, and unlocking a Legendary Skin's recolor can be considered to be valued at roughly 18 levels. Accordingly, the central method of getting Legend Tokens in Apex Legends is leveling up. Likewise, the faster a player levels, the more tokens they will receive as a result.

How To Farm Legend Tokens In Apex Legends

One way to accumulate XP for procuring Legend Tokens fast in Apex Legends is by playing Trios with in-game friends. The experience points rewarded after a match are raised whenever a player completes the game with a friend. Moreover, this value increases when a third friend joins the user's party. Therefore, having consistent befriended squads to play Apex Legends with is essential for earning XP quickly.

Another method of fast leveling in Apex Legends is by reaching the Top 3 in every match. Understandably, it is impossible for players to always become the Champion of every game they play. However, achieving the Top 3 in a match offers significantly more XP rewards than if they were to get three kills but die after the 5-minute mark. In other words, the duration of one's survival directly correlates with their primary XP gain. Hence, it is recommended that players choose Legends like Valkyrie, who have excellent environmental maneuverability, increasing their chances of survival.
