Apocrypha:

Whilst playing through the Dragonborn main questline you will obtain one of several "daedric artifacts" known as the "Black books" These books are a gateway to the daedric prince "hermaeus mora's" realm "Apocrypha."Note; To use the black book you must be in Solstheim and not Skyrim, all you have to do is simply read the book and you will be transported to Apocrypha. In this realm even the darkness is your enemy as you navigate a series of not so complex labyrinths consisting of long winding corridors laced with books. The enemies you encounter here are simple just "Seekers" A low level magic using daedra and the "lurkers" a Giant-like creature from the black lagoon looking daedra that are slow and clumsy and relatively easy to deal with using ebony+ gearAt the end of each book you will be rewarded with a choice of 3 perks all books offer a different 3 choices, sometimes they reward you with an entirely new ability others add extra abilities to, or increase owned abilities for example I myself chose a perk from one of the books to add an effect to my "Unrelenting force" shout that enables a chance for each shout to disintegrate my enemies! The most useful of the black books though is perhaps the one which allows you to take complete reset any of your skill tree's and gain all the points you've spent back while keeping your original level. For example; Say you have 100 smithing and you've spent 8 points on your smithing tree... say you have level 100 in your one handed attribute as well and have 0 points spent. you can remove all 8 of the points from smtihing (whilst keeping your level 100) and spend them how you wish, in this instance you could use them to place on your one handed skill.
