Arnaud Weil est né développeur, ou presque : enfant, il contrôlait son train électrique avec un Atari ST et une carte électronique bricolée par ses soins. Adolescent, il a créé et distribué dans le monde entier l’un des premiers navigateurs Web pour l’un des premiers ordinateurs de poche, à l’époque où le Web naissait. A dire vrai, il adore développer.

Puis .NET est arrivé et depuis 2001 Arnaud développe avec ASP.NET, WPF, WinForms, Silverlight, WCF et XAML tous types d’applications allant de l’informatique industrielle aux applications pour smartphone en passant par la domotique. Quand il ne développe pas, il forme d’autres développeurs et conseille les équipes de développement pour qu’elles atteignent leurs objectifs de la manière la plus efficace possible. En tant que freelance, il participe à des projets très variés.

Ces dernières années, Arnaud est aussi devenu fan de HTML5, JavaScript et les merveilleux outils qui permettent de créer des applications professionnelles à l’aide de ces technologies. Il insiste sur l’écriture de programmes modulaires et intelligents, à l’aide de méthodologies agiles et d’une bonne dose de tests automatisés.

Ce qu’Arnaud aime le plus, c’est aider les autres développeurs : c’est pour cela qu’il forme, donne des conférences, conseille, et s’est mis à rédiger des livres.
