I will soon be the owner of a little white jade fulica and I want him to have a happy life... but I really don't want to go through freezing eggs if I had another fulica in with him. But believe me...snails feel more "happy" when they have the chance to live in a group of at least 3, better more of them...May I ask you to take a look into my gallery, my pics from today. There you can see a group of snails, always they like to be close to one another, although they have a big tank. You will do a big favour to your snail, when you give her more company  And believe me....you get used to freeze the eggs, it's not a big thing and you will see how active your snail will be, when it gets some fellows. | Kind regards from Cleo  | |

Post by cleo on Oct 26, 2007 17:18:01 GMT Unfortunately I don't have experience in keeping white jade fulica, but I keep some "normal" fulica and they live with many Archachatina suturalis in one tank, that means high temperature and high humidity. My tigers like it more hot and wet than the suturalis, maybe it would be too much for the jade fulica. But I think here are some people who can give you more solid informations than me.Did you decide already the quantity of community for your fulica...?  | | Kind regards from Cleo | |

Post by Rachel on Feb 11, 2008 18:22:36 GMT careful or you could end up like me, my baby fuli rosalind has bonded with my baby h. pom hawthorn after i bathed them together, and when i tried to put them into seperate tanks they both sulked, yet were fine when i put them in one together. At least they can't mate, and hawthorns captive bred from 3 generations of captives so no nasty bugs, plus she can't squash him as hes bigger, lol. I suppose that its good shes got a friend, i won't have to rush the choosing of my other GALS. lol  | |

I suppose that its good shes got a friend, i won't have to rush the choosing of my other GALS. lol AWWW TSS - im glad rosalind is settling in nice & has a little Friend & the pics & Vids so CUTE i had both my Fuli in seperate tanks when i got them & they were very "sleepy" & didnt come out much NOW tho they are always out & about & we see them lots so im prepared for the freezing of eggs (it not nice tho) so i can have happy snails - i WAS gonna keep 2 baby fuli BUT im thinking of 2 different babies of seperate breeds so that when they bigger they can go in same Viv but NO EGGS to worry about lol | |

I find them in my communal tanks mouthing each other (which makes the recipent come further out of the shell) and sleeping in a huddle.As for being happy - well who can tell?
