crv-maybe C I was wondering where the CRV's are made. Somewhere I read that they're mostly made in the U.S. for the U.S. market. What years are made here if that's the case? Thanks

Vehicles today are really world-made. Just look at the parts breakdown on the window stickers of everything available. Those assembled in the USA may narrow the field. Yes, it is correct that CR-Vs marketed for the USA are primarily made in the USA. Honda more than any other auto company has more manufacturing plants throughout the world making vehicles for the regions where they are sold. Honda also manufactures more engines than any other company. Honda also manufactures their own transmissions. #9 · Jan 18, 2018 Honda also exports a lot of vehicles, even back to Japan. Vehicles like the Pilot, MDX and Odyssey mini-van I believe are designed, built and marketed exclusively in North America. #10 · Jan 18, 2018 just purchased... made in Indiana. my previous 2001 Accord was made in Ohio and my 1982 Civic was made in Canada. Why are there so many dealers that will tell customers anything? Your dealer is full of it. Japan does not even make the cars and manufacture auto engines, transmissions, motorcycles, outboard engines and other components to be shipped all over the world then assembled in their factories. I would stay away from that dealer being his product knowledge is less than sub par. Show more replies 0 Reply #13 · Jan 19, 2018 Not as many cars. Only for the region. CRVs built for overseas markets made elsewhere-Wikipedia will help here. These SUVs are sold worldwide with many different trim and power train combinations to suit local market. Do not be fooled if your vin has as its first number a 7 it is made in Oceania or as the website says Tiawan. That is right - China. I will opt for US or Canada myself. #17 · Apr 7, 2018 What?
